I did some research into the Fife Veterans on the Spanish Civil War on behalf of Fife Federation Of Trade Union Councils which took on the responsibility of organising the 70th anniversary Memorial events in Fife along with some other Individuals from Fife who had been involved in organising previous events. During my research I uncovered some Veterans names that were not on the Fife Memorial and some anomalies in the names that were. The last duty of this years (2006) organising committee will be to add another plaque to the Memorial stone which will have the new names on it.
